Nor'easter

In late September I had another opportunity to join the folks at NE2C productions to set for the season finale of the UBC Pro Tour. There are three stops year round and this was suppose to be the big show, with all sorts of live music, bike racing and of course, competitive rock climbing. This thing was like a mini trade show. It's pretty wild how many people showed up to this small town in north New Hampshire. The entire venue was literally at the base of a ski hill. All together this event went a lot smoother than the SLC competition. Everyone seemed to be dialed in. It's always a pleasure to work with such talented route setters and set for the best athletes in the country. Here are some pictures courtesy of Tonde(www.ouvreboite.eu), a really cool and experienced setter from Paris. Enjoy.

Here is the wall on day one. The wall crew killed it! They built the wall in one day giving the route setters a huge amount amount of breathing room.

Jeremy and I throwing some Motivation Volumes on the wall to add some spunk. (www.motivationvolumes.com)

Me and mike in the morning getting psyched!

Kynan Wagner for-running my women's final 2 problem.

Dave Wetmore for running on the stout mens final #3. Dave set with us in SLC and he missed finals by a narrow 2 spots at this event. Great for-runner.

Chris Danielson. the only man I know that could talk about climbing holds all day every day. Seriously psyched on plastic grips.

Quick chat with the master mind behind NE2C Jason Danforth. I can't thank these guys enough for letting me have these kind of experiences.

Our head setter Kyle McCabe for-running with power. Kyle seriously gives it his all every time he steps on the wall. It made me want to try that much harder because he can make you look like a wimp. "This guy is farm strong."

Waking up after a tough day of for-running.

FIN

I have had the pleasure of climbing with both these animals. Nalle I met in Hueco. I witnessed him flash multiple v12 and making v13/14 look like nothing. Him and Daniel are certainly neck and neck for the strongest boulderers ( if thats a word) out there. I met Kuutti in Rodellar. He is a super nice kid. We had some great chess battles and some good days of climbing. He is also a beast. Anyway, I really liked this video. Mostly because they are boulders that I have never seen. Not you typical video of repeats you have watched a million times
